As My Mind Unravels
And the mind was never the same again
The red lights, candle-scented air, and the uneasy atmosphere. The carpet is strangely soft, the wood tougher than stone. Found through a door in those old yellow rooms, leading to yet another nightmare… Objects clutter the walls and add to the overwhelming presence: windows are scattered among the walls, some peering into other rooms and others too blackened to view.
The red candles, serving as the only light sources, are difficult to look at, cluttering the mind with indescribable information. Objects resembling little animals and farm equipment cover the walls and furniture senselessly.
The floors continue on indefinitely, the temperature steadily changing with the elevation. The environment becomes more dreamy the further one travels. One may begin to feel uneasy and start to question what is real. Staircases descend indefinitely, windows continuing down.
Seemingly becoming more transparent the further down they follow. They peer into fields of darkness, hugging the windows and peeking inward. Coming across a living room, an unlocked door can be found at the opposite end.
