Tick… Tock…

An antique workshop presents itself before one's eyes, but something’s clearly off. Your eyes don’t deceive you; various clocks line every visible surface, including the walls, floor, and ceiling. Some clocks even appear to be seamlessly stuck inside of them.

The clocks vary widely, ranging from antique grandfather clocks to modern digital clocks. One may attempt to decipher what time they’re displaying, but they all appear to be nonfunctional. The clocks are missing their hands and the digital clocks are turned off.

Approaching the windows and opening the curtains, you're met with a rather large grandfather clock pressed up against the window. As you attempt to comprehend your surroundings, the distinct sound of synced clicking begins behind you. An immediate sense of paranoia ensues.

Tick… Tock…

You look behind you, astonished by the sight of every clock suddenly ticking and turning, all while displaying the same exact time: 55:11 p.m. The ticking starts slower than usual as one wanders the workshop in an attempt to flee the myriad of clockwork.

Traversing deeper into the workshop, the clocks and surrounding environment appear to become more and more mangled. The wood begins to rot and the innards of the clocks become exposed, but they all still displayed the same twisted time nonetheless: 58:11 p.m.

Tick… Tock…

Turning a corner in the rotted wooden halls, you find a pristine white door. You pick up the pace as the ticking and turning of the clocks hasten with you.

Tick… Tock…

Deafening bells echo throughout the workshop as every clock simultaneously strikes midnight. It feels as though a bullet has just been shot into your ear and out of the other. You clutch them as a thick, crimson fluid leaks out.

One would be left deaf by now, but the sound of the clocks' metal clanging can still be heard ricocheting inside one's skull. Crashing towards the ground, you fall atop of the clocks buried into the floor. Looking into them, they still display the time: 00:12 a.m.

The bells continue to bang in unison as a loud ringing ensues. Fuzziness infests your eyes and your mind as you become increasingly more disoriented. Thinking becomes more difficult as you can't even hear your own thoughts. As you look up for the last time, you lock eyes with the large clocks towering over you. They stare back…
