Hushed Trap
You wake up in what looks to be a small room. It's devoid of any and all sound, except for that of flowing water from a nearby pipe leak. The tired expression of your reflection through a mirror stares at you, before you notice what seems to be an exit right in front of you.
Taunting your imprisonment. You slowly make your way to the door, each step small, and quiet, just in case. Right before you open the door, you blink. What was once an exit is instantly replaced with a cold wall. You faceplant into the wall and drop to the ground, the exit now on the other side of the room, you knew something like that was going to happen.
But, you still have some hope left, you stand up and make a dash for the door. Once more, the door moves to the other side of the room. After a few attempts to no avail, you sit down in silence and give up. You stare at the door with hopelessness as it stares back at you.
Until one day, when you've lost track of time; some parts of the wall burst open, liquid seeping through. Seeing and feeling the cold water gives a feeling of inevitability. It may take a long time until the room fills up. But you know that your time here will end soon…
