Luminites
Don't Stare
"They are small… constantly fighting the dark. Existing like impostors, they nest themselves between objects that look exactly like their kind. They take the shape of ordinary lights, in which the bulbs cannot be seen. While they are not hostile in nature, they are portrayed as such, due to their way of self-defense.
Knowing when they are being looked at, they begin to mess with ones mind through unknown ways, creating a feeling of nausea and extreme confusion. Dim, colored rays of light can be seen shortly, before ones vision becomes blurred to the point of blindness for an extended, unknown amount of time.
It is unknown whether these are all the effects they can cause on the mind. Beware of your surroundings, watch out for any light sources that are dimmer than others in the area, do not appear to have a visible light bulb, or seem rather unnatural in general. Those things… they cause paranoia in me whenever I see any form of light.
