Shadows
“Both an unstoppable force and an immovable object.”
Shadows are embodiments of darkness taking humanoid shape, lacking prominent facial features, gender, and not casting a shadow themselves. A Shadow's size remains human, ranging from little to towering and thin to broad, with no two apparitions appearing identical.
Shadows appear to move towards any wanderer they can reasonably get their hands on, moving stiffly and slowly, similar to a marching soldier. With the purpose of their pursuit, and what happens when they succeed, being unknown".
Any attempts to harm a Shadow are futile. with striking, kicking, and hurling things at them having seemingly no effect. Though blocking their path, may it be shutting doors, shoving large objects in their way, etc. can slow it down. Albeit only temporarily.
