Static Yellow

A stagnant musty odor fills the air. The ground below, tan yellow moist carpet covers the floor. Ahead, the walls second both the mono-yellow color palette and the source of the smell. Coated with patterned wallpaper, lined with wooden trim, and the occasional power outlet dotted on.
Overhead, a soft hum buzz emits; fluorescent lights placed in a grid-like fashion brighten up the room with a white tone. Furniture, appliances, and such all appear absent; The room left completely empty.
Rooms parallel share the same characteristics. Empty, mono yellow, musty smell. The only immediate differentiation being the size of the rooms or random walls with nonsensical placement. Distantly, some rooms appear to be darkened; Some of the lights appear to be dysfunctional. Following that trend, some of the lights overhead seem a bit dimmer than usual.
Further exploration sees more of the same repeat itself. Rooms and rooms chaining on for what feels like forever; Context to design feeling all but forgotten. Fresh air becomes a pipe dream in such a stagnant environment. With time standing still, lacking any indication of its passing.
