The Inconsistent Doorway
The%20Inconsistent%20Doorway

Finding yourself on the groundless floor of a void, with nothing but a door that center's the expanding abyss, and feeling a sense of nausea. The door is made of oak with little cracks along its hardwood frame, leading to a much colder, poorly lit hallway when opened.

The hallway is lined with doors, shelves, and chairs, and as one travels down the hallway, the cold breeze will fade into a stronger wind. Randomly entering one of the many doors, one finds themselves at the beginning. However, something seems different… Colder…

Around the third door, the feeling of prying eyes makes itself known. The fifth appearing to call out, in an old, raspy tune.

The seventh appears broken and dilapidated, with papers and torn apart books littering the ground, tables and chairs thrown about and doors graffitied with childish writing. All trying to convince the mind into going through. However, it's fruitless, as it always ends the same.

When first entering door eight, little seems to be different from the previous, except this hallway doesn't have any doors but instead has windows covered in newspapers and wooden planks. Instead of getting colder as they go, this door/hallway gets more "active".

Entering door eight, the hallway lacks the once abundant doors, having windows covered in newspapers and wooden planks instead. Little taps on the glass nearly indiscernible, loud footsteps starting slow but picking up speed with each passing moment. Feelings of fear, stress and doubt overwhelm the overwhelmed mind.

Don't Turn Around…

Don't Look Behind…

Smile…
